Zhou Qingzhi, male, born in 1981, a native of Shaoyang, Hunan Province, member of the Communist Party of China, third-level professor, Doctor of Engineering, doctoral supervisor, and young and middle-aged scholar of the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Talent Support Project. He is currently a member of the Party Committee, vice president, Minister of Publicity Department of the Party Committee, and Minister of United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of University of South China.

Head of the Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Innovation Team under the "Nuclear Science and Technology" First-Class Discipline of Hunan Province; Member of the Editorial Board of *Uranium Mining and Metallurgy*, *China Nuclear Power*, *Journal of University of South China (Natural Science Edition)*, etc.; Reviewer for journals including *Radiation Measurement*, *Journal of Environmental Radioactivity*, *Atomic Energy Science and Technology*, etc.; Member of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society for Radiation Protection; Member of the Committee of the Chinese Ionizing Radiation Metrology Branch; Standing Director of the Hunan Nuclear Society; Member of the Health Physics Society (USA).

Has long been engaged in research in the field of radiation protection and nuclear safety, focusing on the research of airborne radioactive radon measurement, evaluation, prevention and control, as well as radioactive waste treatment technology. Has presided over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 4 key pre-research projects of the Central Military Commission's equipment, and the "Open Bidding for Commanders" project for key core technology research in national defense science and technology of Hunan Province, etc. Has edited 1 national nuclear security training textbook, published 1 academic monograph, participated in the compilation of 1 national standard, published more than 50 SCI/EI academic papers, obtained 13 national invention patents, and won 1 first prize of Hunan Provincial Technological Invention and 1 first prize of Hunan Provincial Advanced Technology Transformation and Application Competition. Has worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan in the United States and participated in the "World Nuclear Energy Management Institute" jointly organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency and the University of Tokyo in Japan.

He has successively held positions such as Deputy Director of the Military Industry Science and Technology Quality Department, Deputy Director of the Research and Discipline Construction Department, Director of the Human Resources Department, and Director of the Research Department of Nanhua University.
