8:00 am, May 10, 2014: The opening ceremony of 2014 Campus Cup Ball Games was held on the sportsground of Hongxiang Campus of the University. Attending the big event were officials of the administration, referees as well as about 4000 student athletes and representatives from the 18 subordinate colleges and schools. After a series of programs, Prof. Wen Gebo, president of USC, declared the League Games open. The ceremony was followed by matches of volleyball, basketball and football on both Hongxiang and Yvmu campus. The season will round up in mid June.
