Urumqi, Xinjiang __"New base for nuke students' internship is to be established in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region", Ding Dexin, vice president of the University, was quoted as saying in his address at the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between the Radiation and Environment Detecting Station of the Department of Environment Protection of XUAR and School of Nuclear Resources Engineering of USC on May 12.2014.
In his address, Ding briefed to the attendees the talents nurturing and research characteristics of USC, and pledged that the University will be committed to further coopereation with the DEP of XUAR through the practice base.
Also attending the ceremony were officials from the DEP of XUAR and deans and professors from nuke-related schools of USC.
