" The Ministry of Education is to conduct an on-the-spot accreditation of the undergraduate program of clinic medicine of Uinversity of South China from October 26 to 30," Wu Yimou, vice president  of the University, was quoted as saying at today's warm-up meeting for the upcoming event.

Zuo Shuliang, party chief of USC, and Wen Gebo, president of USC, both made important speeches at the meeting, which was chaired by Yang Xiaohua, vice president of USC.

USC's medical education dates from 1958, when one of its predecessor, Hengyang Medical College, was founded. With a good reputation and excellent graduates throughout the country, USC has long been a WHO- and IMED-listed institute in medicine.
