Huang Yuejin, the pla's commander of Hunan Military Region visited University of South China on the morning of March 21. After a comprehensive report on the University, Zuo Shuliang and Wen Gebo, top leaders of the university, accompanied the guest and his fellows on a tour of the military education exhibition hall and the campus as well.

The University has been appointed as a selecting and training base of the pla's (navy) official candidates since 2000.
