Chen Liezun, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1968, from Leiyang, Hunan, member of the Communist Party of China, doctor of engineering, third-level professor, master's tutor. He is currently a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the University of South China, the leader of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Supervision Commission in the University of South China, and a second-level senior supervisor.

He is mainly engaged in the research of optoelectronic technology, instructional design and new engineering. He has presided over and completed more than 10 projects, including the first batch of national new engineering research and practice projects of the Ministry of Education, excellent sub-projects of the key projects of the National 15th Education Plan, and the Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province. He has published more than 50 papers in academic journals such as SCI and CSSCI, won 3 national invention patents and 4 utility model patents, and edited 2 textbooks. He is currently presiding over the construction of a new generation of information technology provincial modern industry college and one new engineering research and practice project. He was awarded the first prize of the Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and the first young teaching expert in ordinary colleges and universities in Hunan Province.

He has successively served as vice dean and dean of the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering of Hengyang Normal University, director of the Personnel Department (director of the Teacher Work Department of the Party Committee), member of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hunan City College, and inspector of the Hunan Provincial Supervision Commission in Hunan City College.
