Release date:2025-09-02 Page views:

Recently, the team led by Professor Li Zhenye from the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South China has published important research results titled "Monolayer MnPS3 Nanosheet Integration for Extended Exciton Diffusion and Charge Transport in High-Performance Thickness-Insensitive Organic Photovoltaics" in Advanced Materials, a top journal in the field of materials science (with an impact factor of 26.8 and ranked in the top tier of the first district by the Chinese Academy of Sciences). In this research, monolayer MnPS3 nanosheets were innovatively utilized to assist in enhancing the exciton diffusion and charge transport in battery devices, and organic solar cells with ultra-high thickness tolerance (94.3%) within the photosensitive layer thickness range of 100 - 300 nm were fabricated. This has important scientific value for promoting the large-scale roll-to-roll production of organic solar cells. Professor Li Zhenye is the sole first author of the paper, Zhou Rujin, a master's graduate student supervised by him, is the second author, and Li Zhenye, Zeng Deqian, and Lai Hanjian are the co-corresponding authors. The School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South China is the first affiliated unit of the paper.
