Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province has issued the first batch of typical cases of the "Double Entry and Double Transformation" in school-enterprise cooperation in Hunan Province. The "Key Software for the Key Design of Nuclear Reactors", jointly developed by the team led by Professor Chen Zhenping from the School of Nuclear Science and Technology of the University of South China and Hengyang Ramond Technology Co., Ltd., has been successfully selected.

This innovative achievement has been popularized and applied in China National Nuclear Corporation and China General Nuclear Power Group, serving the optimization design and analysis of advanced nuclear energy systems and models, promoting the popularization and application of the intelligent optimization design technology for radiation shielding and its related derivative technologies, and effectively improving the design performance and design efficiency of complex nuclear energy systems by more than 40%.
