From November 2nd to 7th, Wang Lihua, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of University of South China, led a delegation to Paisley, London in the UK and Dubai, UAE. They visited the University of the West of Scotland, University of East London, Manipal University Dubai (Dubai Campus), and Curtin University (Dubai Campus). Through discussions, they reached a series of consensus on practical cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and teacher exchange with the visited universities.

From November 2nd to 3rd, Wang Lihua and his delegation visited the University of the West of Scotland. During the visit, Wang Lihua met with Stephanie Pitticas, Vice Principal of the University of the West of Scotland, and discussed cooperation in areas such as talent cooperative training, scientific research project collaboration, teacher exchange, health care, nuclear physics, chemistry, and computer science. They also signed a cooperation agreement. Wang Lihua and his delegation also visited the university's nuclear physics laboratory, sports health rehabilitation center, chemistry laboratory and other scientific research institutions, and communicated with Sun Bing, a teacher from the School of Civil Engineering who is studying at the university, to learn in detail about his study and life situation.

On November 4th, the delegation visited the University of East London and met with its Vice-Chancellor David Tann and others. Both sides discussed and exchanged views on matters such as short-term academic and cultural exchanges, and talent cooperative cultivation. The delegation also visited the university's materials laboratory and learned in detail about the laboratory's operation and management, as well as its scientific and technological achievements.

On November 6th, the delegation went to Dubai, where they visited Curtin University (Dubai Campus) and Manipal University (Dubai Campus) successively, and discussed cooperation matters such as joint doctoral training, teacher exchanges, student exchanges and joint training with relevant person in charge of the two universities.

Heads of departments and units such as the School's Finance Department, International Department, Enrollment and Employment Guidance Department, and the School of Language and Literature accompanied the group on the visit.
