Recently, the inaugural regular meeting of the China Nuclear Strategic Planning Research Institute and the Joint Research Center of the University of South China was conducted in the video conference room of the university's first office building. The event convened the core scientific research and management teams from both institutions. Both parties affirmed that, leveraging the platform of the Joint Research Center, they will systematically engage in regular academic exchange visits, collaborative research projects, and cooperation in the transformation of research outcomes.

The conference is structured into two phases: discussion and exchange, and academic deliberation.

During the academic discussion phase, under the theme of "Deepening Strategic Cooperation and Seeking Innovative Development," both parties engaged in extensive exchanges regarding the integration of party building initiatives, nuclear energy economics, digital transformation, carbon neutrality, and other cutting-edge domains. This marked a significant milestone in the collaboration of scientific research and the integration of industry, academia, and research.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reached a consensus to focus on the national "dual carbon" objectives and the strategic requirements of nuclear energy in the future. They agreed to deepen collaborative research in the areas of digital transformation, nuclear energy economic evaluation, and carbon neutrality management. Additionally, they will jointly establish an integrated innovation ecosystem bridging industry, academia, and research, thereby infusing new impetus into the high-quality development of the sector.

The successful conduct of this meeting not only established a robust foundation for cooperation between the two parties but also served as an exemplary model for school-enterprise collaborative innovation.
