Chen Liezun, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1968, from Leiyang, Hunan Province, member of the Communist Party of China, Doctor of Engineering, third-level professor, and master's supervisor. He currently serves as a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of University of South China, as well as the leader of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Hunan Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and Provincial Supervisory Commission stationed at University of South China, and a second-level senior supervisor.

Mainly engaged in research on optoelectronic technology, teaching design and emerging engineering education. He has presided over and completed more than 10 projects including the first batch of national-level emerging engineering education research and practice projects of the Ministry of Education, the excellent sub-project of the key project of the 10th Five-Year Education Plan of China, and the Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province. He has published more than 50 papers in academic journals such as SCI and CSSCI, obtained 3 national invention patents and 4 utility model patents, and edited 2 textbooks. Currently, he presides over one provincial-level modern industrial college construction project of new-generation information technology and one emerging engineering education research and practice project respectively. He was awarded the first prize of Hunan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and the first batch of Young Teaching Experts in General Colleges and Universities of Hunan Province.

He has successively held the positions of Vice Dean and Dean of the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering of Hengyang Normal University, Director of the Personnel Department (Minister of the Party Committee Teachers' Work Department), Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hunan City University, and Supervisor of the Hunan Provincial Supervisory Commission stationed at Hunan City University.
