The opening ceremony of the 2019 Sports Game of the University was held on the school stadium Friday morning.

At the ceremony, Prof. Gao Shan, Party chief of the University, declared the sports game's opening. Prof. Liu Shengxue, vice president, delivered a opening speech, followed by the swearing of the referees and athletes.

Then a grand performance pushed the opening ceremony to its climax.  

More than 2000 athletes from 30 teams will join the game, which will span three days.
