Two professors from the University have been listed in the first batch of outstanding experts who are grandted provincial subsidies.

Prof. Dr. Luo Zhigang, a specialist in urology and the CEO of the Second Affiliated Hospital (Group) to USC, has been enjoying nationwide, if not worldwide, popularity in the field of kidney transplanting since 1996.

Prof. Xiao Jianhua, a ph.d. candidate tutor with the University, has been devoted to the research of anti-infection immunology. Harboring advanced education concept, profound knowledge and experience, Prof. Xiao has long been a model for her remarkable achievemenets in and has earned unanimous accolades from the community of medical education.

PSOE is a program launched by the government of Hunan Province in November, 2013 to further foist high level talents and honor those who have made great contributions in the field of  science, eduation, health, industry and agriculture. The candidates are to be cherry-picked biannually, no more than 100 each time.
