Hu Chongyu, female, Han ethnicity, born in January 1983, from Xiangtan, Hunan, member of the Communist Party of China, professor, doctor, master's tutor. She is currently a member of the Party Committee and vice president of the University of South China.

She has successively served as a member of the Party Committee and vice president of Hunan Provincial People's Hospital (the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Normal University), and deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Hunan Second People's Hospital (Hunan Brain Hospital).

She is a member of the Neurology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Cerebral Small Vessel Disease Branch of the Chinese Stroke Society, a member of the Neurocritical Care Committee of the Chinese Anti-Epilepsy Society, the vice president of the Hunan Stroke Society, a member of the Neurology Professional Committee of the Hunan Medical Association, a member of the Neurology Professional Committee of the Hunan Medical Doctor Association, and the vice chairman of the Medical Research Management Professional Committee of the Hunan Medical Association. She has long been engaged in clinical and scientific education in neurology, cerebrovascular diseases, and epilepsy.
