Liu Wenjun, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1978, from Shanyang, Shaanxi, member of the Communist Party of China, doctor of economics, professor, master's tutor. He is currently a member of the Party Committee of the University of South China.

Vice Chairman of the 7th Hengyang Youth Federation, Executive Director of Hunan Economic Society, Executive Director and Deputy Secretary-General of Hengyang Economic Society, and Member of the Fourth Editorial Board of Journal and Social Sciences Edition of the University of South China.

He is mainly engaged in research in the fields of energy economics, nuclear energy economics and management. He has presided over 1 project of the National Social Science Fund, participated in 2 projects of the National Self-Science Fund, and presided over more than 10 projects of the Hunan Provincial Self-Science Fund, Hunan Social Science Fund and various horizontal commissioned scientific research projects. He has published more than 30 academic papers in domestic and foreign economic journals. He lectures on "Macroeconomic Operation and Analysis" and "Financial Crisis Management Cases" for graduate students, and "Microeconomics" and "Macroeconomics" for undergraduates. In March 2011, he graduated from Kobe University in Japan with a doctorate in economics. He was the director of the Economics Teaching and Research Office, the vice dean of the School of Economics and Management, the deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee, the secretary of the Youth League Committee, and the dean of the School of Economics and Law, the University of South China. In August 2018, he was appointed as a member of the Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department of the University of South China.

In September 2021, he was appointed as a member of the Party Committee of the University of South China and the Secretary of the Party Committee (Supervisor) of Hunan Institute of Transportation Engineering.
