Subsequently, the Hunan Clinical Medical Research Center for Acute and Chronic Pain was officially inaugurated. It is reported that the center will integrate the clinical resources of the affiliated hospitals of the University of South China and the scientific research platforms of universities, with a focus on tackling key problems in the research of pain mechanisms and the development of innovative therapeutic methods. This inauguration ceremony marks the official launch of the center's efforts in tackling key problems and conducting translational research on pain diagnosis and treatment technologies.

The atmosphere was lively during the on-site award presentation session. A total of 23 doctoral students, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students won the "Renfu Anesthesiology Scholarship". Three experts were specially invited to deliver keynote reports at the conference, providing young scholars with research directions and inspiration for their thinking. They respectively analyzed topics themed "Purine Receptors and Chronic Pain", "Neuroinflammation and Neuropathic Pain", and "A Brief Talk on How to Become a Research-oriented Doctor", offering young scholars multi-dimensional inspiration spanning from basic research to clinical innovation.

This event, through academic exchanges and resource integration, has provided an important platform for the development of the discipline of anesthesiology and the cultivation of research-oriented medical talents. In the future, the college will take the newly established Clinical Medical Research Center for Pain as a hub, deepen cooperation with medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies, and build an integrated platform for "basic research - technology development - clinical application". At the same time, it will optimize the curriculum system and add cutting-edge modules such as big data analysis of pain and the design of intelligent diagnosis and treatment tools.
