On the morning of June 12, the 2026 graduation ceremony and degree conferral ceremony of USC University were grandly held at the North Sports Field of the Hongxiang Campus. Party Secretary Tang Zhongyang presided over the ceremony, and President Xia Kun delivered a speech.

This year, a total of 9,391 undergraduates and 2,192 graduate students from USC successfully completed their studies, preparing to embark on new paths in life and shine youthfully in various fields. The ceremony was simultaneously broadcast online, with numerous alumni and parents from home and abroad watching to witness this unforgettable moment together.
At 8 a.m., accompanied by the majestic and resonant national anthem, the Five-star Red Flag was slowly raised, officially opening the ceremony. The ceremony held a sequence of degree conferment and recognition of outstanding graduates. University leaders and alumni representatives straightened the tassels and presented degree certificates to the graduates, and presented awards to the outstanding graduates of 2026.

Teacher representative Luo Junli encouraged all graduates to always maintain their ability to continue learning, the courage to face difficulties head-on, and a heart full of gratitude. He encouraged everyone to have light in their eyes, dreams in their hearts, and a path beneath their feet, living up to their youth, the times, and USC's cultivation and expectations.
Liu Aihua, a 1992 alumnus of Clinical Medicine and from Beijing Tiantan Hospital, drawing on over thirty years of medical experience, urged everyone to stay true to their original aspirations, focus deeply on their main professions, broaden their life horizons, and integrate personal ideals into the overall national development. Mi Sinan, alumna of the 1988 Mechanical Engineering program and president of the Beijing Alumni Association, encouraged graduates to hold fast to their ideals, pursue lifelong learning, and strive bravely, facing life's challenges with perseverance, and passing on the USC spirit through relentless effort.
In his speech, Xia Kun warmly congratulated all graduates, expressing heartfelt thanks to the parents who quietly dedicate themselves, the hardworking faculty and staff, and the alumni who care deeply about their alma mater. "You are destined to be a graduate remembered by the times," he said. The students grew up in a new era of rapid national development and rapid technological advancement, witnessing the launch of major national equipment and breakthroughs in hardcore technology, such as the Fujian warship entering the sea to sharpen its sword, the Chinese space station soaring through the skies, breakthroughs in domestic humanoid equipment, and the implementation and completion of fourth-generation nuclear power technology. 2026 marks the first year of the national "15th Five-Year Plan." As the first batch of young people stepping out of school on this new journey to devote themselves to national modernization, under the coordinated development of education, science and technology, and talent, students are born with the mission of the times and naturally shoulder the responsibilities of youth, making them undisputed pioneers of the new era.
