Both the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the National Health Commission have signed agreements with the People’s Government of Co-Sponsoring University of South China, Prof. Zhang Zuohua, president of the University, was quoted  as saying at the press conference held Wednesday by the information office of Hunan Provincial People’s Government.

At the meeting, the president briefed the background, the content, and the next steps of the co-sponsoring programs.

Zhang reiterated that the signing of these agreements fully reflects the high recognition and strong support of the above-mentioned departments  for the school's achievements and development, and has injected new vitality, added new momentum and illuminated a new direction for the university to promote the construction of a high-level university.

Gao Shan, Party chief of the university, attended the conference.
