The Opening ceremony was held on Sept 3 for the 2015 undergraduate freshmen, which was followed by the startup of the military training.

A first tier, or yiben in Chinese, institution, the university has enrolled in the 2015 recruit season 7954 Chinese students, including those from Hongkong, 478 more than the planned.

Another 100+ international students from Americas, Europe, Africa, as well as other parts of Asia are on the way to the University.
