A meeting was held Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the national 31st Teachers's Day which falls on Sept, 10.

Chaired by Prof. Wen Gebo, president of the University, the meeting began with the chorus of the National Anthem, which was followed by pronouncement of the congratulation letters from the Ministry of Information and Industry, China National Nuclear Corporation and other nuclear power related SOEs.

More than two hundred teachers and other staff members were awarded for their achievements over the past year.

Prof. Zou Shuliang, Party chief of the University concluded the ceremony with gratitude to all the staff members for their contribtution to the Univeristy. In his concluding remarks Zou reviewed what had been achieved over the past 12th five-year and blueprinted what is to be done in the coming 13th five-year.
