On the morning of March 16, the framework contract for strategic cooperation between Beijing-based National Nuclear Security Techniques Center and University of South China was inked at the University.
The signing ceremony was presided by Prof. Zou Shulliang, chairman of the University Council. Attending the event were officials from both sides.

NNSTC is one of the subordinates of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, PRC, and offers technological support to the nuclear security, the control of nuclear materials, and nuclear import and export of the country.
The University, founded in 1958, is one of the earliest universities specialized in nuclear field, with its programs covering the whole chain of the industry, from uranium mining up to the disposal of nuclear waste.
