USC Marks Women's Day

On the afternoon of March 7, a special meeting was held in the University of South China to celebrate the upcoming International Women's Day, which is observed every March 8 worldwide.

Zou Shuliang, secretary of CCP of USC, and Wen Gebo, president of USC, attended the meeting, presided by Quan Zhihua, chairman of USC labor union and vice president of the University. More than 40 female professors, doctors and officials were invited to the meeting.

After the awarding ceremony, both top leaders addressed the representatives, expressing their gratitude to all the female staff members for their hard work and great contribution to the university, and at the same time, urging them to play their "half-shy" role better then ever.

Also part of the celebrating activities, the Contest of Square Dance was held on the eve of the Day.
