Training Course on Pediatric Nursing Techniques kicks off

July 15, Changsha -- Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of P. R. China, the Training Course kicked off on pediatric nursing techniques for Latin American, Caribbean and South Pacific countries in the Changsha-based School of Pediatrics of USC, aka, Hunan Children Hospital.
The trainees come from a variety of countries, namely, Argentina, Panama, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Chile, Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Dominican republic, Cuba, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Samoa.
Attending the opening ceremony are Li Peng, vice director of Department of Commerce of the Province, Cai Donghua, head of the international affairs with Department of Health of the Province, and the officials from the School.
The ceremony was chaired by Ms. Zhu Lihui, vice director of the Hospital and one of the alumni of the School of Nursing of USC.
 
The course will last two months, until Sept. 12, 2014. Synchronically, the Hospital is hosting another international program: a training course on medical staff for Sierra Leone, which goes on from July 11 to Oct. 8, 2014.
