Training Program for Sierra Leone Medical Staff 2014 kicks off

July 11, Changsha -- A two-month training program for Sierra Leone Medical Staff kicked off at Hunan Children Hospital, one of the affiliated hospitals of the University, aka, School of Pediatrics of University Of South China.

This is the second program of the year held by the hospital, following a 60-day training program from May to July on Pediatric Critical Care for Asian and European Countries, namely, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mongolia, north Korea, Afghanistan, East Timor, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Jordan, Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, the Czech republic.

Hunan Children’s Hospital has held successfully dozens of foreign aid training programs sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce since 2006, and cultivated more than 400 medicare staff members from 50 developing countries.
